Swing Era 1940-1941

In my little town is a cute, little bookshop. It's filled with hand-me-down books of all sorts. The other day, I came across a book titled, The Swing Era: How It Was To Be Young Then only for $1. I showed my mom the cover and she sighed, "Oh boy..." Ha-ha! It's full of pictures and details of clothes, food, activities, musicians, dancing, and more!

This is a Junior Prom- AWESOME dresses! I love this book!

Anthropologie Recreation!

Blouse at Anthropologie for about $150. I found a shirt pattern that was similar for $2 and cute sheer fabric on a 40% off sale. There was no ruffle on the pattern of course but with using my imagination, my grandma's imagination, and the serger, we made the cutest ruffles!!

I'm going to wear it ALL the time!
